American Battle Monuments Commission
Established in 1923 The American Battle Monuments Commission was created by United States Congress.
Today, more than 218,000 United States servicemen and women are buried or commemorated in 24 overseas military cemeteries or on one of the 26 memorials, monuments or markers.
The Fallen Heroes of Normandy are particularly grateful for the help received by the superintendents and staff at the American Battle Monuments Commission cemeteries, without whom we would not have been able to add the 16,000 plus memorial pages we presently have online for those who now rest in the Brittany American Cemetery, Cambridge American Cemetery and Normandy American Cemetery.
Links to those memorial pages can be found via our Search page or the American Forces Casualties page on this archive and website.
